I just picked up a used mini truck t/c I plan on separating the toy box and buying the adapters from marlin.

My queston is do you have to change the toy box internals to accept the new output shaft that marlin sends with the h42 kit ?

I have looked at the mini t/c and I do not fully understand how it adapts if you do not change the toybox input shaft to female instead of a male splines. :bang:

yes, I believe you'll need a 19spline input gear(toybox, female). I also believe at this time the only gear offered is 4.7:1.

You will also need a new trans output(they have it)

again this what I remember from when I looked into it

Called marlin to order my adapter. They no longer sell the h41/42 to toybox adarter. They only sell it as an assembled unit.

So now it will be a rock box downey has them cheaper then marlin sells the adapters for .

Marlin's replacement transmission shaft is 10-spline. That shaft fits inside the shaft in his toybox that also is 10-spline. That means you will need to buy a 10-spline input gear for your transfer case. The 19-spline toybox shaft that he recently started selling is for the H55f tranny.

Regarding the toybox adapter, you may want to talk/email to Dave for verification. He's their toybox guru.
