So I've started hearing a roaring sound when I'm on the highway at around 65-70 mph. Nothing when turning etc... I figure its my wheel bearings. My cv axle boots have holes in them. Not sure if that could possibly be the problem? I have already purchased the hub bearing assembly, should I replace the cv axle while I'm at it? It would have to be an aftermarket item I cant really afford the OEM parts right now. Thinking about TRQ? I have zero experience with this brand it just had decent reviews online....or should I go with the cv axle boot kit and just replace the boots when I do the wheel bearings? 2004 GX470 btw with 116K miles. Thanks for any input

Can be wheel bearings or it could be the CV bearings running dry and causing the noise. Easy enough to get some grease and reboot the CVs then go from there. Wheel bearings are an easy swap.
