HELP! Vacuum Leak... Headers/ Intake manifold (1 Viewer)

I still have a vacuum leak where my headers and intake man attach to the engine. I tried one gasket.. then i tried two.. Still leaking!!! Am i using the wrong bolts and washers??? please help!

Yes you are using the incorrect washers, you need lockwashers. I know how frustrating it is to have a leak at the intake, been there done that. First off take everything apart again, go to you local parts store and order 2 FELPRO Gaskets, then also buy some high temp silicone, either the red stuff or ultra gray will work, that is the key, you need the goo-goo stuff. If this don't work than you need to resurface, also, if your running an aftermarket header, then my understanding is that everything, meaning the intake and exhaust manifold together, need to be resurfaced. Yes, those are the wrong bolts. Should be studs there.
