:bang::bang:Hi guys, I went to the Toyota Stealership and they had no Idea what this cover is for, is the one that is right where the engine and the transmition come toguether. That tells you how much the guys in the parts department know about the cars they are suppoused to sell parts for. They even asked the master technician and the guy didn't even know. :bang: So please, if someone knows I'll appreciate your help, And C-Dan, if you know and can get this cover, how much is it??? Thanks so much in advance!

FSM refers to it as a "torque converter clutch cover"

Thanks guys, I appreciate the help!
Now my question is, is there a risk of that thing coming off while under water or mud??? If so, what's the worse case scenario if that happens???
CDan, If I replace it with a new one and I sell it with RTV, will that be ok??? just thought I'd ask you, thanks!

It is an access cover to allow removal of the torque converter bolts. It just snaps in place and is not sealed from the factory in any manner.

Ok, thanks Cdan, do you have this part for sale??? If so, how much is it?? and Can I seal it with RTV? do you think that would help from allowing anything to go in???

I do carry it in stock. I do not have pricing at home but if memory serves it's less than 10 bucks. There is no reason to glue it in place unless you really want to.

;) Thanks Cdan, I appreciate your help, I'll Let you know If I decide to get the part.

Another thing, I notice that my Oil pressure gauge sensor is leaking a little oil, does anybody know if when this happen, is the sensor bad???
