ok then Tony, so where ya gonna go?

Mr Wehrer has a nice clean shop with some space, have not heard from him in a while either.

Bet he chimes in now!

Sorry, full house at the moment. One is under repair from the weekend activities and another is a ongoing project that I hope to complete this summer.
Tim

Thanks Bill! The truck and backs would be best, have enough trailers right now and can fit so many on our small road.

However Bill, I saw the photo of your truck. Don't drive to Hldg to help me unless its done for Rubithon. :)

very appreciative!

Many thanks to those fine folks who are offering to help!!!

This is still 3 weeks out but for Cindy and I, they are going fast! :)

Hoping for folks to show up around 10 to 11 AM, earlier is better. Want to have everyone packed, and lunched, so we can all leave between 1 and 3 PM for Auburn. This will allow us to have all trucks there by 5:30 or 6, and get them unpacked. Then dinner and beverages around the pool in an empty house.

We'll do breakfast in the morning and get our return cars on the road back to Hlbg (or your own home) by 10 AM Sunday and have everyone either home or in Hlbg by noon.

For those who would like to help Saturday, but cannot do the Auburn loop, we can always use help loading the trucks on Saturday. As Roger noted, loading always takes longer than unloading.

Thanks all!

OK, its Monday 5/31. Rubithon cut off date and the day we receive the keys to our new auburn home.

The Move is on for this coming Saturday, 6/6. I'd like folks to arrive early but certainly no later than 11 as we want to have all trucks packed and out by 3... that would be arriving in Auburn before 6 for sure. Packed and out right after lunch, say 1 pm would be ideal.

I'll be contacting everyone who has volunteered personally to ensure you are showing up, what you are bringing and have directions. With James, Jpr Ron and my car trailer, I don't think I can fit anymore trailers. I'd like to pack those first and get them out of the yard (park at rental unit below).

If any Sonoma County folks want to help but cannot swing the Auburn loop (IE, drive up and return Sunday), then please feel free to help load on Saturday. As Roger notes, loading always take much longer than unloading. Also, I could use a truck to complete a dump run that day.

For those going the distance, Bring your overnight stuff including pad and bag. There will no furniture in the house except what we bring. We have camp chairs and coolers. Lunch and dinner will be catered on Saturday and we'll hit some breakfast Sunday on our way out of town. There are large flat green grass areas for tent camping, 4 extra bedrooms in the house or the entire empty house to find a spot.
Also, bring your swim trunks as the pool and spa will be fully available to us, although the whether looks to be mid 80s and nice that weekend (not too hot I hope).

Spouses are welcome, as are young backs such as sons, brothers, Uncles, nephews and homeless.

Directions to the destination will be provided before departing Healdsburg so regardless, you will be able to find the new house even if getting separated, as will be gas money for those driving.

Very exciting for Cindy and I... our youngest daughter KT graduated high school on Friday, all the folks were up this weekend and we all said good bye to our Healdsburg house of 23 years. It's time to go.

Please arrive around 9 AM, no later than 11 if possible. This will allow time to load everything and get out right after lunch.

Directions: 1240 Chiquita Road (top of Mabee Lane)

Hwy 101 or which ever you prefer, to Healdsburg.
Take the Alexander Valley / Lytton Springs off ramp on the North end of Healdsburg (after Dry Creek Rd)
As you come off the Hwy, go West on Lytton Springs (Under the Hwy if traveling North)
go past the Salvation Army, and take a left on Chiquita Road at the Ridge Winery.
Follow Chiquita through a hard left, 300 yards and then a hard right...
one house on the right and then Mabee Lane, single paved private road on the right.
Turn right on to Mabee Lane, follow thru S turn and to the top of the hill and 6 mail boxes.
turn right at the 6 mail boxes, my drive way to 1240 Chiquita Road, top of Mabee Lane.
if you hit the pond, too far.

We have 3 mylar smiley face balloons which we will put on chiquita road in the morning. :)

I can note that I have done a lot of packing, and the place already looks empty.
Don B. came by today and I threw a bunch of junk in his truck when he was not looking.

Tony,
I will be leaving Santa Rosa right around 10:00 am should put me there round 10:25 or so.

Tony, We'll be there about 9, see you in the morning.

Just to complicate matters, Highway 37 will be closed until 9 AM, so it looks like I'll be heading through napa

dang... and I didn't think those weekend night closures would affect anyone! Ya, you have no other options from Vallejo. :(

Hit it at 9:30 Ross. That will still put you here around 10:30.

Here are the folks offering up their time to help us:

Michael (driving the 45 full of Rubithon Raffle fodder, overnight)
Ross (pick up truck, Rubithon stuff, Hanna the helper, overnight)
Don and Sheila (Don driving the 4Runner, Sheila in tow, overnight)
Dion Mattei (pick up truck, overnighting, presume Spence but I hope for Lisa!, overnight)
Jeeper Ron (arriving early, huge trailer, no Carol the smart one, overnight)
James Henry! (cargo dump trailer, presume solo, the dirty work!, overnight)
Bill Stayner (informs me his pig is ready 4 Rubithon, has the time, truck, solo, no overnight)
Phil Pasciak (Unload only, Rubithon efforts, overnight)
Paul Decker (arrive before lunch, wish us well, take all Land Cruiser parts, and go to dump, no overnight)

a couple of other fine folks have offered help depending on other things going on in their lives.

Tomorrow is the day, ready or not!
