So as you PMC folks know, Cindy and Tony have been talking about moving for 3 years now.
just talk, talk, talk... no action.

but now it appears our move is a go, and while I don't really want to burden my friends, we believe the time has come to play the 'Hey friend, help us move' card. :)

I have to be out of my shop and garage by June 7th, and we need to be out of the house by 6/20.
Thus we have two primary move weekends, June 6 - 7, and June 13 - 14th. If we get all done early, fine. If we get done late, no Rubithon for us.

We need a couple trucks with trailers (will pay $100 for fuel), we need folks with just full size trucks (will pay $60 for fuel) and we need bodies to simply help load and unload, and take ride to Auburn. If you drive, I'll pay $40 for fuel. Everyone will get fed lunch in Healdsburg and dinner that evening in Auburn. You are welcome to stay overnight (after all, you have to help unload) or just for dinner, its your call. Overnighters will be get to enjoy the pool and beverages that evening as we celebrate the move to our new house.

Now a few folks have already let me know they would help, you know who you are. One fine PMC'er offered to drive my 45 to Auburn, I'm taking you up on that June 6th.

Please sing out here if you can help or drop me an email. We've been in Healdsburg for 23 years and while we have sold, given or trashed a lot of stuff, there is still plenty for everyone.

What did we buy? We'll you'll have to help us move to find out. :)

and of course, a few folks thought I was stretching it by asking my 'friends'. :)

So here your answer to the boredom you have been experiencing... please help us move.

Thanks my friends for helping us attend rubithon, and get moved, very appreciative.

Tony and Cindy

Tony I can help. I should be able to help the first weekend anyway. Don't have a big ol' truck but I got a big ol' 72 chevy LB trailer that can haul a lot of ....

Tony,
Do you still have the 40 that needs to be driven up, my offer to drive it is still good. I also offer my services, with my little tacoma as well, and my hands are always there to load and we will discuss unloading.

that was not the 40 you volunteered for...

Thanks Don! If it trailers good, great!

OK then, what will my duties for the weekend, grunt, gopher, box boy, loader, driver, disrupter, coordinator, parking attendant, or my personal favorite, Chief Executive Supervisor?

Loader, Driver, coordinator... and all around fun guy.

Yes, I'd like you to drive the 45 with some very important stuff in the bed. You can either catch a ride back that night with someone, or please plan to overnight and return the next day with me.

This one particular task is very important to me, especially with needing to be out of shop/garage on 7th.

Also, drop me a phone call today please, I have some projects for you that are best completed before we move.

thanks MD!

The outsider (flat sac )

too soon to say ? but I might be able to use 18 ft enclosed trailer & truck , should be a go !! just to soon to say ??

thanks Jeff and Knorr Bro. That would be great and we are very appreciative.

strong backs are always good.

Tony,
Congratulations on finding a new place, I know you guys have been working on it for awhile, hope it's what you've been looking for and more. As much as I would love to help you move, we'll be in Mexico during that time having to deal with that dam sun, food and there may-be a beer or two involved.
Sounds like your getting a lot of volunteers, that's great but remember, don't start with the beer and drinks until everything is moved into the house.
Tim

Tony and Cindy - I have the full size Dodge, I think those weekends?? or at least one free and your choice of car trailer, 10k dump trailer or 20' box car trailer to bring and will drive and load.
Of course you aren't that guy that waits to pack till everbody gets there right???? Tony??? :clap:Let me know whatcha need folks.

that is good advice Tim!

James, hope you can make the 6th/7th. and whatever tows the best. The dump trailer might be the best with its sides.

thanks!

Tony June 6/7th, yes -- June 13/14, no (will be packing for Rubithon / on the way up the hill)

thanks Ross... and Ya, the second weekend is a bust due to Rubithon... but I think we'll make good progress 6/7th... I was telling Don if we get the shop/garage, two sheds, and old garage full of packed boxes moved, we'll be in good shape to finish up the following weekend on our own.

Yes, I do appreciate your help on the 6/7. Can I count on Truck trailer or just truck? Either works.

I don't expect to over load any trailer, but I do have large stuff like shop tables, table saw, radial arm saw that need to roped on a trailer or take up most of a truck bed.

There are also two beds I'd like to get up there so Cindy and I can be multi-home(less). This will help as she and I will be moving stuff thru the week on our own.

Woo Hoo.

Tony,
Dump trailer works great for unloading. Just back up to the new garage and push the button. You'll be drinking beer within minutes.
Dave

Damn Dave,
Your thinkin, I like that idea can we get all the trailers in dump mode?

Yeah man just untie the load back up real fast and hit the brakes blam unloaded.. :hillbilly:

trust me... the stuff you guys will be moving is only worth dumping. :)

remember, the focus is garage/shop/sheds... ya, that kind of stuff.

We hand over the keys to our Healdsburg house of 22 years today. Kinda bitter-sweet.

Tony -- I will have the truck, we'll have a lumber rack on it if you need some long stuff hauled.

hmmm... ok. So we are still moving, but not to that house. Fell out of escrow. These are certainly unique times.

Next up...
