I think you got punked- "made for Slee before they started selling them" seriously I wouldn't believe that statement. Slee spacers were always Blue anodized (looks like black now) Anyway If not hub centric on the front, then you need to tighten the lugs with the wheel off the ground to avoid wobbles.

What did you pay for them? $100? Honestly- If safety for you and others is any concern, a set of Bora or Spidertrax spacers are the only choice - and for a little more than $200 for a set of Bora spacers why bother with an unknown used improper fitting part?

Full disclosure, I've already told the OP to ship them back if he is unhappy with them and I'll venmo him back what he paid. I'm not out to punk anyone and it's rare, as my wife will confirm with pictures of a garage full of Land Rover and Toyota parts, that I get rid of anything. I just happened to see the OP wtb post, knew that I had these and offered them for a reasonable price.

I purchased them from Slee on May 9th of 2006 and put probably 30k on them in my 06 without a problem. You can question Christo if he too is "punking" customers, but I know how that will turn out. These are the same spacers he used on his white LX470 and have no reason to suspect they are "cheap chinese crap". But to compare apples to apples here, I had them installed on a brand spanking new 06, whereas the OP has them installed on a vehicle that is now +14 years older than when it was new. What is most likely to change over a 14 year time period, a machined aluminum spacer, or the suspension/driveline of a 20yo truck, not to mention the additional forces you've just introduced to a 50lb rolling mass to each corner at 45mph. A rope is only as strong as it's breaking strain as the saying goes...

Lol this app is crazy😂 I’ll let you know if I’m not satisfied no worries at all. As of this morning they seem fine to me. Gonna swap tires and if I have an issue then kneel has agreed to refund me. No problem.

I mean, your thread title for a wheel shimmy is more crazy than most people's threads when they have a brake failure so...

I will support Kneel's statement. There were no hubcentric 1.25" spacer back in 2006 because nobody figured it out. Slee indeed offered non-hubcentric spacers prior to the blue ones. Slee/Spidertrax spacers didn't come until later.

Newbs! :flipoff2:

 Thanks, @hoser. I was beginning to doubt myself. I had to go back and read emails from Christo from 2006 to corroborate. Like I said, i don't get rid of anything...

I think we're good. 👍
