I’m in the middle of replacing inner and outer rocker panels. Just about to weld outer rocker on. My rear quarter panel and inner fender have been patched and there was substantial rust in the rockers back there so I’m not quite sure how it should all go back together. If my drivers side is right, it looks like quarter panel extends several inches beyond outer/inner rocker joint. Then the inner fender is welded an inch or two inside the outer edge of the rear quarter touching and maybe welded to the end of the rockers. Then I guess the inside part parallel to the inner rocker is an extension of the tub/body? If anyone has a good explanation and some pictures for how it should work, I’d appreciate learning. I do know that my inner rocker needs to be trimmed but I’m not sure how much and to which profile. Thanks!
