I have been offered a 2f engine as a spare .
I have been told this motor is from a 1982 build
The engine number of the spare engine is 2F661033.
My build date is Chassis Vin number. FJ 40-358 741 Built 09/1982.
Is the motor on offer as a spare built in 1982 ?
The motor now fitted has an Engine serial number 2F. 320794 I believe this motor was made in 1977 / 1978.
If the motor on offer is a 1982 it just makes my build more factory original.
