Help me make a decision on a 2022 Luxury or a 2023 Premium? (1 Viewer)

So I'm considering a 2022 Luxury, Nori Green, @ $102K. 14000 miles. Or a I can pay $2K more and get a brand new 2023 Premium. It appears that the only differences are the 22 inch wheels on the luxury, and a "premium" audio system.

They don't have Nori Green either. I'd have to take another color.

Which way should I go?

$2K more for a brand new model year truck with zero miles sounds like a no brainer to me. Depends on how long you want to keep it I guess but you should get decent trade value or sale value if you decide you don't want it anymore in the first few years

I'd probably go with the Luxury just for the Levinson stereo.

UPDATE: They were offering me a thousand or two more on my trade-in to sell me the 22 Luxury, which is at $102K, with 15K miles.

So now it's a price difference of around $6500 between the 22 Luxury with 15K miles, and a brand new premium.

Given that the 22 is CPO, it's probably a wash more or less?

How will the green hold in terms of resale do you guys think?

Even at 5-6K more, I would buy the newer one, given the 14,000 miles on the older one. The delta has to be much higher for me, to take the older one.

Yeah, they are giving me less on my trade-in for a new one, as it turns out. I think if it's $4K or less diff, still go with the new one. I'm figuring in 4 years, the values of a Premium versus a Luxury are going to be very close?

Yup, I think as the older they get, the options matter less and condition etc matters more. Good luck.

Yeah, mine is a creampuff 2019 Luxury, and it booked out for maybe $500 more than just a regular LX. Good feedback.

Other consideration is whether the Luxury has AHC and, if so, do you want AHC or not? I don't think it is available as an option on the Premium trim but is on luxury.

I have it on mine and i think it's better than AHC on my 570.

So it's $7300 difference. Probably just take the greenie. They want it off the lot, which is why they offered me so much on my trade.

UPDATE: Bought the 2022. They tossed in a 5 year windshield replacement warranty. I've got a soft spot in my heart for the green ones. Original warranty plus CPO to 100K. I think I did good. It was the cheapest 2022 Luxury in the land by quite a lot.

Green will be a much more sought after option down the road, and personally, the BEST color on the LX hands down.
