Help me buy a 70 series landcruiser

Guys, looking to buy a 70 series landcruiser in South America, Colombia most likely. Need to be reliable and in good shape. Will not be driven much, but need it slightly modes for off road adventures. Short or Medium wheelbase most likely.
Is there a buying guide anywhere?
I am a competent mechanic but will have minimum of tools there to do any wrenching. Would love to bring my 4runner to visit colombia, but the Man says no way hombre gringo.
I appreciate any advise.

Thanks @beno for the shout but I am sending them north!

If the OP is in Colombia I suggest a FZJ73 or depending on budget better! Check Tucarro.com for Cruisers and if you need a shop to help with repairs in Bogotá I can make a very good recommendation.
