Just filled up and the needle moved a little and then dropped, the odometer works so could go that route but silly me I like things to work:popcorn:

check for a good connection on your wires

If the oil pressure and temp gauges work, it is not the fuse. That leaves the gauge and the sender. Momentarily ground the sender wire and see if the gauge deflects. If so the gauge is good, so suspect the sender or its ground wire.

Oil and temp work so ill check ground wire thx a bunch for the quick response.Awesome that i found this site.:beer:

The sender wire goes from the gauge to the sender. It has a spade terminal. The ground wire is white with a black stripe and it has a ring terminal. It makes sure the sender has a good ground. You need to remove the passenger seat and cover to get at it.

As soon as daylight hits I will see whats up.Thanks for the detailed info. My rig was a search and rescue for a few years so there is wiring everywhere that goes nowhere and I am electrically challenged so thx
