SOLD Help in buying procedure

Hi All
If I find a vehicle I like in this forum what is best way to make a refundable deposit to hold so I can go look?
Any help in purchasing arrangements anyone has used would be appreciated. I live far from a vehicle I am considering so need to hold it so I can fly down and purchace.

Start by asking what the seller would like to do......maybe they will hold it without a deposit if you commit to flying out right away ( proof of ticket purchase maybe? )

One option is to ask a reputable mudder via mud or a local club to go take a look before any funds are exchanged at all. Maybe consider using them as intermediary

I've be just been fortunate if I sent a small deposit. Just make it small enough to hold vehicle but not too much if seller turns out to be a douchebag and takes it.

Think @swamp-thing is right... it's really the seller's call - additionally, here is probably the best place to find an honest and 'work with you' type of seller!
