Hi, could use some help ID’ing some parts that were shipped with my Valley Hybrids rebuild of my 1968 FJ40 Trans/TCase.
They shipped me a beautifully rebuilt unit with the trans and TC put together and included a bag of parts for final assembly.
I don’t recognize some of the parts and haven’t been able to definitively find them in SOR’s exploded parts diagrams.
Texted the shop yesterday but they didn’t get a chance to respond and I’d like to get the unit together this weekend.

Where does rubber boot 1 go?
Bag 4 contains 2 felt washers, 2 copper washers, and an o-ring/seal. No idea where they go, can anyone help?

Many thanks
Chip Robie

The rubber o-ring and smaller felt washer both look like they might belong with the speedometer gear assembly. Looked familiar to me since I replaced mine just recently.

Georg sent multiple parts envelopes with the rebuild project. One envelope contained these parts plus the speedo mount lock tab and bolt. Little O-ring goes on the gear shaft, sleeve follows little ring onto the shaft, big o ring seals around the speedo gear housing where it slides into the TCase. Felt washer goes in cable end.
There might be a felt washer shown for each end of the Speedo cable maybe?
