Help I am new to the FJ40

Warning a newbie question!
I bought two books for my 1971 FJ40 and neither of the books explain what I need to order to hook the knob on the the dash to the transfer case for four wheel drive

Try the search function I gave it a wirl and quite a bit of info popped up around your question. I didnt find an exact match that I could provide a link to but lots of info non the less. It appears there is a kit out there to make it a floor shift if that ends up being cheaper......
