HELP!!havent taken it apart yet.. (95 accord..)

what does it sound like when wheel bearings go bad? my ol lady / our DD car sounds like I am running a mud tire. tread looks ok. doesnt make any noice when there is a load (ie acceleration/ turning the wheel. ) but it has gotten loader and louder this week. takeing her to the airport then I am pulling the wheel .. any suggestions?

oh the sound is coming from the right front

it sounds like a grating or a groaning..

What noise is it making?
The tire have a bubble in it?

probably a bad CV. look and see if the boots are leaking. if so, it's about $150 and 2hrs to replace. cheaper if you do it yourself.

ended up being the hub not the CV... lets not talk about how big of a pain in the ass this was...
