hello everyone, I just upgraded my nav cd to where it is finally if use to me but am unable to input info while moving. After doing some research about the secret screens I was able to figure out two(pics below), but the two different sequences I found online did not work to unlock the area where I can disable this feature. Any help would be great! Thanks

Anybody have any experience about this?

Bump for an answer! I’m leaving soon on a 1000 mile road trip and could really use this feature!

Press the following combination to get to the service menu of your Lexus or Prius navigation system.

Newer vehicles (07+): Menu, Volume, top left, bottom left, top left, bottom left

Older vehicles (I can confirm this one): Menu, System, top left, bottom left, top left, bottom left, bottom right

Older vehicles (alternate version): Menu, DVD, top left, bottom left, top left, bottom left, bottom right

Disable Navigation Lockout
On the service menu screen there are a number of diagnostic buttons hiding untold wonders. One of the more useful is the GPS button which gives you detailed lat/lon and status information from the GPS module. To disable the lockout feature, look for the button that says Override. Press and hold it until it beeps, then press the back button to exit the service menu.

Thanks so much for the response Vlad, but none of those work for me. Is it because I have the new version map dvd?

I'm not familiar with the LC nav but I recently put an after market nav system in my van.
Online sources say that to override the no DVD while driving feature the parking brake switch had to be disabled.

Hope this helps.

^^ I am attempting to overide the feature that allows you to update an address in the gps while in motion. The dvd is tied directly to the hand brake. Thanks though! That’s next on my project list!

Last Hail Mary bump
