help 60 series 2h wont start

Hi guys, need somehelp with my 60 series. My 2h diesel will turn over but very slowly, my battery is new but the engine seems to draw a crazy amount of current. My cruiser starts when tow started very easy. I have narrowed this problem to the engine, as i have just pulled it from my old 60 series which had the same problem. can anyone offer some much needed advice? cheers

According to the symptoms I would say its your starter who needs some attention.
Take it off and inspect all the bearings and brushes.

I'll second that. Get the starter checked sounds like it is binding up.

Thanks, turned out to be starter and lose connections / broken wiring from starter relay, all sorted now cheers
