hey all.....im new to this website and forum. i've gota 92 fj80 thats got a little over 177k on it but still truckin fine. ive always been into fourwheeling but have always had other rigs. this is my daily driver but i still want to make it plenty capable off-road. i would like about a 2.5 to 3 inch lift(enough to fit 33s.) i kinda have my mind set on the OME kit everyone that has it seems to like it. i have had several vehicles in the past that have had suspension lifts and i have had several problems out of all of them.....steering,alignment,ect. will this kit screw anything up? thanks for your help and any advice

If you install the OME with the castor correction, you will likely think your truck drives better than stock.

Welcome aboard :flipoff2: :D

sounds good... i know there are a few different springs OME makes (as far as stiffness goes) are the heavy load springs really stiff? any advice for which springs i should get? and do they settle any after you put them on? thanks for any help guys

Check www.sleeoffroad.com , they are the authority on 80 series and have good info on the different springs/combinations, if you purchase from them they have a reputation of great support as well as good prices.

welcome!

92 - call Slee Off Road. No one knows their stuff as well as Christo, Robbie and Ben. Plus they are great guys to deal with and talk to. They can help you decide what is best for your needs.

Bottom line is that there are very few shops that know much about the Land Cruiser, and the 80 even less. I have no affiliation with www.sleeoffroad.com other than I started out as a customer and now consider them great friends as well as a great place to buy my stuff from.
