So new 1958 owner here. Thanks for all the information I’ve sponged up the last few years, figured it was time to join.

Seat covers: been searching the web and the options are extremely limited. Just spoke with Wet Okole folks and they said it “could be months or a year” and they’re waiting on someone to bring an LC250 to their Cali location (Costa Mesa?) and leave it there so they can measure.

Anyone have any luck finding anything? I like the cloth but my kids are going to annihilate these things.

Not exactly what you are asking for, but this is also on my mind and I did 2 things.

1) I applied 303 Fabric Guard to the cloth. To prevent overspray, I sprayed the 303 onto a microfiber cloth or applicator and wiped it on from there.
2) I found some towels on Amazon that are a convenient size to keep in the car so that I can put them over my seats in situations of obvious concern. The color of the towels almost disappear on the seats, they are very close. If I want to let the seats be naked, I roll the towels up and keep one in each front door, readily available if there is a spill. I also hang a third in the back pocket of the front car seats to protect the seat(s) from kids feet / shoes pushing on the back.

I like this because the towels are easy enough to put away and store in the car so that I can still show off my nice car seats when I want to.

Thank you. I’ll start with the spray (wiping it on) then add some towels.

If anyone finds some form-fitting covers…

Update on seat covers:
Saddleman: they have completed modeling and will make LC250 covers at a normal production rate. (If anyone has used them, please chime in on quality!)
Black Duck (Australia) is making them and will ship. Great reviews for extreme conditions but their regular material is $1455 landed (I was told not easy to wash - hand wash only). The machine washable version will be more. But most reviews say they’re legit tough.
Carhartt, coverking and all other precision/custom-fit US makers have nothing available yet.

Tiger Tough: not planning to make covers for the 250
