Just wanted to say hello to all of you as I'm a new owner of a 1995 FJ 80. Recently purchased from a friend of mine. 156k miles with every option including the front, center and rear lockers. I paid $6000.00 so first I'll ask how I did on the price and please be gentle. It came with $20,000 in dealer maintenance dating back to the day it was purchased new. I'll post some pics shortly. Hello again and thanks for looking.

:flipoff2: Welcome. Without pix it didn't happen. At 156K, lockers, and maintenance records for $6K - sounds pretty good. Hopefully the interior/exterior reflect that as well and FYI - it's a FZJ.

Congrats!!!

Here it is. Desert Dust over Moonglow. Full leather/3rd row, moonroof, K294 lockers, etc etc. Bought and raised in NM.

No roof rack. Very nice. Would be interesting if you could list all the dealer performed services/repairs that added up to $20,000.

I added up the book of receipts it had from new. Includes numerous brake jobs, tune-ups, dealer-recommended service intervals, freon adds, axle services, etc etc. Also he was allergic to leaks so if it seeped anything he fixed it...receipts for rear main, VC gasket, oil pan gasket, tranny pan gasket, etc etc. Receipts for fixing the EGR code. You get the idea. It tallied up to just under $20k for the last 17 years.

Great looking cruiser - I love that color combo. No roof rack, no running boards, no wind deflector. If it had cloth seats and no sunroof, you'd have the holy grail of cruisers there.... well the domestic version anyway...

You did great! Welcome to the addiction!

Welcome and congrats.:) The last two pics look familiar. I think your friend posted 'em when they got the Cruiser.

Thats true, he only had it a few months and decided to go in another direction. So I was more than happy to take the 80 off his hands.
