Its 9PM and the 100 series is loaded to leave for Mexico at 6AM. Everything under the hood looks good( I thought) but for good measures (OCD) lets grease the u-joints.

Ekk I find all this red stuff on the back of the engine WTF.:bang: A plastic T connector under the hood at the rear of the engine has the same red stuff on it. I touch it and now I have 2 piece and engine blood running out, great! Out comes the plumbing box and some copper fittings and we are good to go in short time. I ended up making 2 copper T so I can replace the other plastic T in the near future.

2 of the hoses are 5/8 and one is 1/2

Looking back this problem would be somewhat challenging on or off the road, make sure you are prepared or plan to do an upgrade.

Yes, very nice fix, and Bon Voyage.

With those short and smooth pipes on the Tee, make sure to re-tighten the clamps. The advantage of the original clamps is that they keep a constant pressure even if the hose gives a bit. You probably get a higher clamping force with the screw-type tho, but they do require re-tightening.

Nice improvising. I'm a little embarrassed to say I just changed mine.... So I'm bullet proof again! They had started to crust up. Some of the others have posted using one piece brass tees.

I've found the right rear storage compartment is a great place to store extra thermostat, heater T's, and other parts that car get you out of a jamb. Maybe I can find a way to fit some gas in there.
