So, I acquired a full heater box thingy from a 55, and it doesn't seem to quite fit into my 40. Should I go though the trouble of mod'ing the crap out of it to make it fit? or should I sell it and keep looking?

I've got the blower (which works) the heater box and the duct thing that connects the two. it's in really good shape (no rust) if a little dusty - it will need new seals. the core seems to be in good shape, but I have no experience in judging such things.

Helps!

I'll get some pic's of it up, if I can get off my lazy :zilla: and do it :hillbilly:

Sell it and keep looking...

Where are you located?

I thought I had posted this, but doesn't seem to have taken.

I've got a heater assembly from an FJ55 it's in fairly good shape sans rust and what not (needs seals and what not) - I was told that it would fit into an FJ40 (not so much)

so, here's the quandary, I can probably modify it to make it work, but I'd rather not start cutting into it and the Cruiser if I can avoid it. Should I just sit on it or try to sell it? or should I start chopping? :hillbilly:

I'll put some pic's up when I get less lazy or if there is some interest in it.

It is right here...

Been busy out here....it was on page two...

I'm over in Tucson, AZ. I guess I'll e-bay it... what do you think something like that is worth?

there are 2 different versions of the 55 heater, early and late.

pulled it from a 72 piggy

Full heater, is that front or rear?

Brian

Just the front. the rear one had been pillaged already :frown:
