After thinking about doing this for a few months I finally swapped out my stock seats and dropped in a pair of Saab heated leather seats. the brackets from the stock cruiser seats can be removed and installed on the Saab seat quite easily... you need but drill one hole. The seats are a bit wider but still work okay... the e-brake touches the driver's seat when engaged. Two small adapters needed to to be to bolt in the rear inboard mounts and two holes needed to be drilled to mount the front inboard mounts. Looks fine... and you wouldn't even see it if the carpets were installed... mine aren't as a bed liner application is in the near future. Not exactly diesel specific but I did install them in a diesel... which, btw, is now running on B100 biodiesel. Purchased in a 100g pre-pay for $3.10/g.:grinpimp: oops... meant to post this elsewhere... sorry.

lets see some pics...
im looking to do the same.
did you get the seats at a junk yard? $ ??

I actually bought them from a Saab mechanic down the street from my house. $175 for the pair... in decent shape. The hardware from my cruiser seats was easy to attach to the Saab seats... one new hole drilled to bolt up the positional adjuster. Then the outboard brackets bolted right in. I needed to fab up two brackets for the rear inboard (1/8' flatbar, 4 1/2" long by 1" wide, two 1/2" holes drilled 1 1/16" on center from either end). The front inboard are attached by drilling a hole (horizontal) though the bed of the truck and bolting it straight up. I'll post pics this weekend.
