Headliner Removal?

I removed my stock roof rack this morning in order to install a Frontrunner rack, but when I removed the passenger's side rear cover of the factory rack, it was missing the bolts. When I got the factory rack off I realized the nut plate was also missing.
It looks like the previous owner left me a little gift.
Now, I have to tear the interior apart. I did a quick search but couldn't find any instructions. Does anyone have any advice? I probably only need to pull down the rear corner.
I also need to find the nut plate, it's probably down at the bottom somewhere.

I was able to get to the rear rack mount without having to drop the headliner, but unfortunately, I couldn't find the nut plate.
I ordered a new one from Toyota, but it won't be in for a few days.

Yeah, I think Toyota hangs the headliner on the assembly line first, then builds the entire truck around it

I also pulled the subwoofer and the mount for the jack looking for that damn nut plate, but it must have fallen into a black hole or something.

I lost the same one putting my rack on. Dealer put the new plate in for the cost of the part.

I don't remember being all that careful when I did my Frontrunner but I just got lucky. No issues.

Nearly lost mine but managed to retrieve it with a lot of effort and some tiny surgical tools.

If that hadn't worked, I was going to put in rivet nuts. Gotta be careful of all the airbag stuff, though.
