Headlight differences

Can anyone provide a photo of the "sport" headlights installed in a GX? I don't really understand what the sport headlights look like in a truck. Are they the same lights with a dark/black background or are the lenses just "smoked" to give a darker appearance?

My 04 is navy blue, and it's about time for some replacement headlight assemblies. I'm thinking a non-chrome background might look better on my darker color than replacement chrome units would, but it's difficult to see what the alternative assemblies look like without seeing them installed in a truck.

The sport models had a grey/smoke tent to them rather than the yellow ish green what ever tint the regular ones have ... if you go to the SoutherSS built thread one the last few update when he did the long travel upgrade ... he installed some after market sport head lights they look really good

They are the same units lens-wise, but the chrome coating inside has a slight black tint instead of a green tint. It's still looks like chrome just a different shade.

Besides the slight color difference, are the sports headlight and regular headlights interchangeable?

I just hit a deer today. It obliterated a headlight, among a few other cosmetic things...that's another story.
I like the look of the sports ones and considering buying a set from Ebay.

Non sport I’m holding, sport is what is in the truck.
Depot brand from amazon is what I used. For some reason, the sports were actually cheaper.

The sports from Lexus parts are like 200 ish for factory light. Not bad i don’t think
