The mailman....dropped off the precious cargo today.....!!

My headache rack ...Is here....

My headache rack from Kevin showed up today...and man is it nice and HEAVY DUTY.. and SUPER COOL !!!!!!!

I have a welder lined up ( skill I have yet to learn ) and I really want to get it right....I have only seen them from afar, so I have just a layman's idea of how it might go together...it seems fairly basic...but do have some questions because I want to get it right...
Do the center up rights bolt to upper and lower rails or are they welded? Also the lower cross member ...does the high lip go toward the cab or bed?

If you have detailed pictures...Great

And yes....if your wondering... I was jumping up and down like a kid on Christmas morning when I saw the package today !!

Just saw this, glad you got it. I can help you out tonight when I get home with the details. The whole thing is weld - not bolts - except to the bed

Congrats on the new rack! Post up pictures when it is all set up.

Here are a couple of detail pics of my original rack (ordered from Toyota back in 1990 and not yet installed...).

they have answered my questions...
Not that 45s are high speed vehicles.... but it seems that the center horizionals could quieter with the C channel facing back

And with the c-channel facing forward, it will cup the air and reduce fuel mileage to boot
