I'll buy it based on the quality of their video production alone. Certain winner!

not gonna lie thats pretty damn cool

It looks like this could be a great solution and the price seems reasonable, but I really wish the guy had covered how some of the factory systems (such as the HVAC controls and the backup camera) actually work in this unit and done a demo of the features that are added by this unit such as showing how native Android apps (such as Google Maps) work and how the CarPlay integration is handled. It looks like there aren't hard buttons for adjusting temperature, so that's a negative IMO, though it depends on just how well the HVAC controls are handled on the screen.

I'd also like more details on how accessible USB ports are, how many USB ports are available, etc.

I'm fairly happy with the EC Offroad unit I have now that integrates with the factory display, especially since ALL factory functionality is still usable. But I will probably move to one of these Tesla style units at some point to get the better display.

Hopefully someone will try this out and post some feedback.

Didn't watch the video, but the screenshot shows dual air, which is feature of foreign models vs 4 zone in the U.S. Does it support heated wipers, rear screen video, etc?

If there is a touchscreen glitch, you may have issues. Looks like defrost and heat controls are all done via touch screen. Looks like 20-30 second boot time as well. Not the end of the world, but if you want to start your car and throw on defrost, you are waiting a while.

Yeah, lots of open questions about how the factory stuff works.
