First issue is that aint a diesel! might have more luck asking around the 80 series forum for 1fz stuff

Video is there just for the reference, wanted to know is the original thread maker solved his problem.
The sound is the same, simptoms too, and I did some of it from his list without any noticeable changes. And the sound is loudest around the bell housing as it is on his video. His and mine problem are the same, I am sure.
I was just about to do the transmission overhaul when I read that hasn't changed anything. So... I would ask on some Japanese forums too but I do not know any
