Hey Guys!

I am looking at different shock options for my FJ40 rockbuggy.
Originally I was going to run Fox Air Shocks but because I am in New Zealand the freight and exchange rate makes them a very pricey option. Then I came across F.O.A Coilovers for a very good price so my question to the masses is anyone using or heard of these Coilovers? If so what are your reactions?

Cheers

David

The "threaded" body is a coarse design but it also utilizes a tension clamp to keep adjustment where it needs to be. The adjustment design is not a big deal at all.

the main downside to these shocks (IMHO) is that they only come in a 3" body. I do not have the room for a shock that bog in my rig or I would have tried them out.

The ends are cast instead of machined, so if you ever wear out one of the bushings in the shock you need to purchase another end instead of just relpacing the eye... Nto a huge deal and I believe that the money saved on the units is worth it.

I would run them in a second.

Thanks for the reply guys.

After a closer look at the prices of things such as the required springs, I have decided to stay with Fox Air Shocks. And they get here in 3 weeks! :grinpimp:
