has anyone used a throttle body spacer on the 2.7L??

Hey guys and gals,
Just wondering if any of you have used throttle body spacers on your rigs, I wanted to know if there are any results, or if its a nice shiny $100.00 aluminum washer.

According to the claims onlie, about 8hp and some torque and better mileage, I want the HP I'm not worried about the mileage though, the gas is way too cheap here to complain!!
