Has anyone upgraded their shift knob? (1 Viewer)

I've been searching for an upgraded shift knob, but havent found many with the O/D button -- has anyone replaced their shift knob? if so, what companies/sites would you recommend?

Pics would be nice too

I dunno about this but have you checked to see if the Lexus shift knobs are different? Are you referring to the tranny or the transfer?

Haven't really planed on replacing it, maybe just getting it polished.

i guess "upgraded" isnt the right word, how about "waste money"?

the reason i ask is because i have a bunch of relatives inquiring what to get me for xmas, and since i have a new toy, i figured i could have them get me the detail items so i can save for more substantial items like: bearings, lift kit, tires, etc....

this is what i had in mind (but i need to find one w O/D button):

There ain't no difference between the LC and Lexus knobs -- at least not for the 96/97 models.

If you really need to upgrade...try an upholstery shop -- they should be able to recover it for you. New (OEM replacement) ones are expensive.

Some of the Lexus vehicles may(?) have suitable knobs. The steering wheels do fit.

tea - the trick is to automate it so you aren't doing the linking. There are a lot of programs that will do it for you (just fyi).

Mot is just upsent cause he wants to shine mine and I won't let him. BTW, I try not to jerk on my knob too hard too often. Don't want to hurt anything.
