If you have problems with the fiberglass cap leaking where is it riveted to the rain gutter, I can recommend this 3M product. It flows on very nicely and gets right into the seam (ad says consistency is that of "thin syrup"). One application took care of my leak there and across the cowl where I couldn't get the Blue Mule sealed up properly in Malawi. As soon as I have a little more time, I will complete the seam sealing on the Mule with a thicker version of this sealer. Clear, paintable, flexible. Seems just the ticket for those nagging seam leaks. :)

Have a pic of the finished product?

I used 55yr clear latex cauk for $4/tube vs $14

Umm... OK. Here ya go. They are not good pictures - I was having trouble focusing the pocket camera while hanging from the mirror :)

This stuff just flows right into the seam, and kinda disappears. The cowl seam pic was right after I applied the sealer. That seam and the others on the body will be finished with the thick version of this sealer.
