If anyone is repairing the drip rail on their hardtop and just needs to replace the straight sections here are the measurements to have them bent at a sheet metal shop. I had all mine made for $100.

One of my corners was still intact. So I placed a piece of wood over it and traced the profile. Then Cut the profile out

I forgot to mention I cut two pieces if wood. Then I sandwiched the sheet metal between the two pieces of wood and clamped in a vise. Next I started folding the edges over with a body hammer.

Btw I used the profile from the right to make the left. Here's what it looks like so far.

Are the corners symmetric front to back as well as side to side?

I'd bet people would pay you $25 for two of the wood forms, or $25 per corner for formed steel that can be welded to your straight pieces after we take them to get bent.

Nice work.

The rear corners are symmetric. The rails end or taper at the windshield and attach to the small section at the front

Lookin good.

Love to see innovation at work. Anyone can write a cheque.
