I put my hardtop on my 72 and when Im on the Fwy, I get very loud wind whistle from the front corner areas of the hardtop/widshield junction. What can I do to fix this condition?

Thanks,

Are you running the factory gasket on top of your windshield frame?

Mine always leaked up in the top two corners (could normally see daylight through the holes). I plugged the top corners with body putty (dumb-dumb), but I admit I lost the putty every time I removed the top for wheelin. Had I never remover the top, the push-in putty would have stayed forever.

windshield sealant/ black rtv. smear it in there and when you need to remove it, it's no problem. Cheap easy fix that is reversible should you want to replace all the weather stripping a high dollar cost.

Beware of the fumes while drinking bad way to tant your beer flavor+ the buzzes don't compliment each other!

Thanks for the replies. I got out the silicon tonight. Let see how that does. Hey Jim, hows the 700R4 adapter coming?
