Hard start for first start if the day?? HDJ80 1HDT (1 Viewer)

Good afternoon,

Lately since the Temps have started to come down here in Germany I've been having a hard start issue. If the truck sits for about 12 hours and I go to start it, it shakes and turns over but it is very rough to idel for a few seconds. Then it goes away and every start afterwards is fine? I tried a new fuel filter. But it didn't seem to do the trick. Has anyone had this issue before?

What happens if you give the hand primer a few pumps before starting?

Sounds like you may have a minor leak in fuel lines that's allowing a loss of vacuum in the lines, which lets fuel drain back to the tank.
