We went to the State cemetery yesterday with my kiddo and wife. It was a very beautiful but sobering place.

I swung over to Cook Walden in Pflugerville to visit the graves of two gentlemen that I had the honor of serving on their respective PGR escorts. They are buried about 25 feet from each other, died about 5 months apart in 2007, and both left 3 year old sons behind. I too am a veteran, and this country's insistence on starting pointless wars pisses me off.
