Who has traditional food?
A: Turkey and mashed potatoes with the rest.
B: Traditional European either Dutch, Swedish or German etc meals not based on mythical picture of
settlers sitting down with native people.
C: Coffee and Chocolate for breakfast, Costco Steak and Beer for dinner

I woke up early and went into the shop to keep the fire warmed up. I have two of my favourite toys
in out there 60 & 74.
Christmas breakfast was coffee and chocolate cake. Then more coffee, steak and hashbrowns and chocolate cake.
See how far Nick's kids get asking for chocolate cake for breakfast!? LOL.
Hope you all have a good day and my one new years resolution is to get this group up island for a weekend along
one of the upper west coast beaches for fires, food and wheeling. Ya know, a real Cruisers Thing!

I'm having a fairly typical Christmas morning. Coffee with Carolans and a trashy tv show.

Location leaves something to be desired tho. 🤣

I've spent more than a few staring at TV in a hotel somewhere else. That at least has come to an end for me for now.

The 2.5x pay does coat the pill a bit, but it'll be a looong boring shift.

Apparently we're having poke bowls for supper tonight, which is right up there on the traditional meals list I think 😁

That was Hawaii '15 for me! LOL I never got any extra $ but then there wasn't any real work to do anyways.

Haha I've actually made it this far without hearing a single christmas song this year.

Not even a verse. Zero.

So while I'm tempted to click that because of the title, I ain't gonna 🤣

Regular Canadian thing today with brined turkey on my spouses side of the family. But tomorrow very traditional Danish Smorgasbord on father's side; which I like far better! Home made family rye bread recipe with the whole works. Akvavit and Lager too.

Chicken Pasta Alfredo.

Not very traditional. Skipped the Turkey this year.

I often smoke a turkey and invite friends over as my family lives abroad. Some of my favourites are. Scalloped potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower and cheese sauce. Crazy exotic stuffing with sourdough, figs, sausage and many other awesome ingredients. Cheese cake pumpkin pie. And always a garden salad I top with bbq cabbage, feta, sunflower seeds and smoked salmon. I let friends bring whatever they want. I love to cook so it’s usually a good party.

This year in Panama was typical western turkey, potato wedges, stuffing and salad.
Turkey pot pie for leftovers and I’ll be making turkey kung-pow pizza tonight. A favourite I learned from an old friend’s mom. Always a hit.
