Handle De-Chrome (Need Help!)

Looking for some help.

I’m doing some handle de-chroming research and think I may have found a factory black handle that will work. However, I need to confirm dimensions, fit, etc.

Can someone give me the part number for an FJ60/62 exterior handle for comparison?

Skinner, why not primer the handles, and spray black ? you could even clear cote for extra protection !

If you already have them out... why not have a shop Powder coat them...
They can sand blast the chrome out and give you whatever finish color you want..

LOL! Also another option that I have considered. It's just that I had read in another thread about a mini truck handle that looked the same and may be compatible that comes in black. I'm trying to confirm.

IIRC someone also said old Corolla handles were a match too.

I have two chrome mini truck handles on the way, I'll post up if they fit or not. Looking at the replacement handles for FJ60s from CCOT, they might be specific to each door....we'll see. My local PC shop quoted $10 per handle, not bad if it includes blasting too, I have to ask.

There are black plastic mini truck handles available Shop 1A Auto® for Toyota Pickup Door Handle Outside Black Passenger Side 1984-88 for your Pickup if plastic is an option.

Have a chrome shop strip the chrome - it's pretty hard to blast off.

quick question: Looking on CCOT it appears that all four door handles are different. Can a set of front driver and passanger side handles be mod'ed to work on the back two doors? Thanks.
