I mentioned this in the pig parts wish list thread and Pighead thought it would be a no go. Here are some pics of my window regulator and it looks very similar to the windows with electric motor. It looks like one could be swapped in rather easy, hell maybe just the motor itself. what do you all think about this do you agree with Pighead?

that piece of alluminum is what is currently used to roll the window down as my hand crank.

You're right, that looks very similar to an electric window regulator. It just might work.

mtnpig,

I currently have my electric mechanism out of my tailgate and laying in my garage. Any measurements that I can take or help I can offer?

Yeah that sounds like a safe bet, send the next one to me. I am thinking about taking my chances and finding one near by to buy and throw in there. Its got the screw holes for the motor and the gear is the same, well looks to be the same?

I have a spare motor,I'm looking for the pot-metel piece that holds the motor to the reg. The 2 feet are broken,So i tyed the motor to the reg with some .030 feed wire.
