No Joy with Sparks Toyota on that P/N.....anything else we can try? Said it didnt pull up...
I Just got off the phone with my dealer and they show it as a good number but its not available nor is the rebuild kit or the entire master cylinder. I have a decent assortment of the factory copper and aluminum gaskets, the only way to know is to remove your gasket and match it up.

OK........I probably gave him the wrong #......It wouldnt be the first time......
Its such a slow drip...might even be able to tighten it....I havent been able to though....he man that i am......

Spoke with BBQ BOY yesterday and Charleston fj60 today, looks like we'll be doing the front axle/knuckle re-build on BBQ BOY'S 40 along with the tie rod replacement and a lift on Charleston fj60's white 60 series. Diagnosing greenseamans lockers inop and rear brake adjusment (by the way if your vehicle has rear disc brakes theres no adjustment allowed with exception to the e-brake shoes),Brocks wheel well modifacation, and not sure about ocdbeetles repairs, also not sure about dbenkes repairs other than the power window switch parts i have from some salvage switches. I know dbenke has to leave in time to be in Ridgeville that afternoon so we'll need to start as early as possible, dbenkes presence will definately be an asset to us getting this all acomplished. If it comes down to staying late into the evening or even into Sunday thats fine with me. Just want to know what were up against befeore we start, as we all know theres always something that you don't anticipate when working on 20 to 30+ year old vehicles. If i missed anyones needed repairs please post up as you were not excluded intentionally.

I will try to cut my wheel well this week then so all we have to do is weld the flat steel to box it back in....that will save some time. will try to cut the steel for welding up as well unless Glenn has a steel saw that will be faster and straighter than me using cutting wheel.

Hopefully tighten/replace copper washer on brake master to fix leak, bleed brakes....adjust if necessary.....
edit: getting tired of hitting the brakes and finding I've got to pump 5 times to stop or slow down...

The first one to the floor is the scary one.....

I can bring my steel cutoff saw if needed Brock....

edit again: take a peak at the diff vent.....

Know it's out of the way but if you want to run up Friday night I'll fire up the plasma and cut it for you. Doc

I'll see what I can come up with....I've got an old master I can maybe get the end nut off....

On the new installed master, I can't even see the edge of the copper gasket to get a measurement...

OH...new thought....I'll post a request in the 40 section for the size and someone will measure for me..... :)

BBQBOY, If you feel like bringing that front bumper Saturday
I'll certainly take it home with a smile on my face......I don't know if you have any of
the mounting pieces for it but if so thats great too.....

I don't need to work on my 62, as it is all small stuff that I can do at night.
I do think we have a full daay, though.
The last time I removed a set of original springs, I ended up cutting the pivot bolts. That can take some time.I think w/ a lift though it will be faster.(easier)

That would be great! Thanks. Sometime Fri I'm going to get the oil changed in it and see it a new oil filter helps and put in a thicker oil weight as well..

I know we've got several guy's coming from out of town and the times i'm sure will differ when they arrive arrive, in a perfect world i would like to tackle the simple jobs first, such as lockers inop for greensemen, the oil pressure for tristan, grinding and welding for Brock, the diff vent for ocd, as i only have 2 lifts. The master cylinder for ocd can be done in a flat stall, bbq boy's knuckle job will pretty much consume a lift for the day.(BBQ FOR LIFE OR MAYBE JUST A YEAR OR EVEN A DAY) I would like to start Jasons lift installation after we've tackled the other jobs that will require the second lift. I've got another technician coming, that worked for me at the Lexus shop. Whether i can convince him to jump in and help is another story.
I'll jump in and help with the locker diagnosis issue and then probably move on to helping mike with the knuckles and let Dbenke have the rest and then help finish up the remaining after Dbenke has to leave.

I promise guys, i'm not a micromanager, just like to have a plan of action. If anyone (dbenke) has any other ideas Please feel free to interject.

need a plan or it will be chaos...i have not been able to cut mine yet in prep but will be there between 8:00-8:30am and start removing mudflaps and if someone has some jack stands will go ahead and pull tires off and start cutting.

I've got the jack stands. It will be so much faster to cut, grind and weld on the lift, rather than working on the floor. I guess we'll treat it as first come first serve, kinda like at Bessingers BBQ Drive thru.:D:D:D

I plan to be there around 8ish....Do I need to bring my metal cutting chopsaw saw?

If we can tighten that big nut on the end of the master then bleeding/adjusting will be a quick (hopefully) job.....my butt is tired of gripping the seat every time I need to stop.....

Looks like a very full day.....

Ill show up around 9..I met a new potential member named Sam with an 80 and Ill pry be bringing him as well..
