I'll be working in Charleston that day. Wish I could make it! I miss you guys (not in a gay way. Sorry Ron!)

what time we supposed to show up

I will be there before lunch.....was bringing FJ60 to work on carb and some other things but may drive FJ Cruiser and install a new set of OME springs front and rear....well rear unless Doc has a spring compressor then will do the front too.

Only danger in early is I might still be in the speedo as Brock requested.:flipoff2: Other than that any time is good for me.:D Will have to make a run in for bun's for the burgers and tomatos and other fresh fixins. Except for supply runs I will be here all day Sat and Sun. Don't have a dedicated spring compressor but there are several pullers and tools that might work we'll see.

John my shop partner was not able to get the Ford F 150 back on it's wheels so only the lift bay is empty(BT is sitting outside)but with man power and lift I still think we can do most/all of the projects. See ya

I will bring jack stands and lift as well for backup.... with your lift and all the tools we should be okay. Think I will just drive 60 up as I dont want to only get back done on FJC and then have extra stiff in rear and medium in front and look all jacked up. :D

Oh crap. I just looked back on here... Unfortunately I'm still in Chatanooga and won't be back untill tomorrow night. 6 hour drive to Charlotte then 3 1/2 back to Chucktown. Sorry, but I will be in town for wrenching on Sunday if you still need a hand though. I have some things in store for my 80 then anyway.

Got home and the CV boot looks as clean as it did when I cleaned it at Doc's. I guess it is ok?

We got everting done for those who came on saturday, had a great time I think, and fixed some rig's but no one stayed till Sunday. However I'm still at home tomorrow if you want some help a project,I will do what I can. Think some new skills learned by the folks and productive day. Thanks to all who came. Pic's will be posted tomorrow. Doc:cheers:

Yep it was a relaxing and rewarding day and most importantly a great visit with you Doc...

GreenSeaMan- replaced brake pads all around, installed fuel door latch, installed fuel door, tightened kick down cable, fixed sticking hood latch and found a way to ensure any weak wheel lugs are identified using impact wrench. LOL:princess:

Maglight- marked and removed AllPro bumper as the damn thing is infamous for hitting body, breaking hood latches and cracking grills. He fixed his with a plasma cutter, a grinder, 15 extension cords, three breakers on fuze panel, and a can of satin black paint. LOL:wrench:

Brock- I walked around and acted important...drove to store to get food to cook for dinner with Doc....shared tools and service manuals...drank a FatTire beer...and learned how inadequate my FJ60 looks next to Doc's beheamoth. LOL:flipoff2:

DBENKE- arrived with bankers hours (after 2pm) and put his on rack....pulled off a 20lb piece of dried mud from our last expedition, straightened his bent bumper and helped everyone with any lingering issues on their rigs.:steer:

Doc-Great host as always with beer and food...plus use of his two bay shop with hydraulic lift, plasma cutter, grinders, tools, etc...Thanks again Doc and let us know when you are ready to knock out a hundred little things on your BT60 and we will come up again.

Thanks Doc but by the time I get back to Charleston from Charlotte this afternoon then back up to Sumter, we'll probabally be short on daylight. Seeing as I got stuck up here longer than expected with my future inlaws.
