Sure! Was thinking of driving the troopy if it's nice out. I Need to repair some of the PO wiring that was done to the tail lights. Other than that I was planning on just helping others out if anyone needs a hand.

So bad news..... The heater core (or a hose attached) blew out yesterday. My dad was driving around town, which is ok for him to do, and steam started coming out of the firewall/ac. He got to a gas station and called me. When the truck is running, water with a bit of coolant/oil residue sprays out of the back of the engine, behind the intake manifold. My guess is heater core. Any thoughts? I've got it at waiting at a shop right now. Anyways I won't be able to make it this weekend, but I plan on showing up next month and hopefully to Logan's Run

PHH would be my guess. Possibly the rear heater hoses.

Sounds like PHH or FHH to me , your heater core is inside the truck

Oh, I honestly don't know much about Cruisers yet, having only owned it for a month. What is PHH and FHH lol

PHH = Pesky Heater Hose

I'll find you a link

Ok I did a search, found out about the PHH, and I think that must be the issue, it sounds exactly like what happened. I'm going to call the shop tomorrow and hope they haven't started working on the truck. My understanding is that I could do this fix in my side lot one afternoon. The fluid coming out of the PHH, would that be coolant/water from the radiator? It had oily residue in it, but I guess that can be residue from the outside of the engine... sorry for hijacking the thread btw

Not a hijack, pre-HAMOM troubleshooting. Everyone grab a beer; David get a Mt Dew !

The PHH isn't a bad job, if you are flexible. No special tools needed. Just take off your driver's side wheel and look up ...

I already got my Dew...
I'll clean up a little around the garage this afternoon and see you guys at Cars and Coffee in the morning.
I hope the 62 starts, I haven't driven it since the middle of June.

If its over 6 weeks, I think the by-laws state you get a corner cut off your LCLC membership card.

You have to remember , I was at summer camp for a week, and sick for 3 weeks...

I'll see y'all in the morning, probably make it to Cars and Coffee. If possible could I get my truck on the lift early, hopefully it won't take too long to do the brake upgrade and I need to be back in Conway in time for a birthday party Sat. afternoon. I think I've got everything to do it- rotors, calipers, pads, shim kit, dremel, Loctite, tin snips, brake fluid... Let me know if you think I need anything else!!! Can't wait to see everyone!!!

I wish I could make it, but it's not gonna happen this time. Hopefully the next one.

Cranked right up just like always and the A/C is blowing cold...
See you guys in the morning

I got tied up this morning will try and make it. Y'all maybe finished by the time I arrive

I left at noon and Tim was just starting his quarterly power steering pump replacement.

Was it Ryan that was selling the 61? Can I get some photos sent to me? I have a friend in CO that may be interested. 854- nine nine nine 7628
