Just thought I would post up some pictures of the half door that I worked on today. I got the doors from Pappy(thanks!) when I picked up a replacement crankshaft for my 40. I have a local friend here in ABQ that helped me with the project. I was pretty happy with how it turned out. Still need to clean up a few welds, but turned out pretty good for a first try. Hope to have the second door done next weekend if I can get the dent pulled. Had to throw the band-aid in there for Pappy. The last photo is of 15 foot tall rattlesnake tail statue that my friend fabricated for the Chiricahua Desert Museum in Rodeo, NM. I guess it took 40 days to build, not surprising with the number of scales that they had to make to cover the whole tail.
