Had to leave the FJ out in the bush to fend for herself for a night! got super stuck in a ****hole and couldn't get out.
tried jacking with hilift and staking anchors in mud so deep and sticky we were getting super stuck walking in it. came back the next day with a bunch more gear and got it out. eight hours in total.
used two hundred foot aircraft cables, 20foot chain, two tow straps, huge rope, bunch of shakles and a tirfor hand jack with block to half the last stretch. long two days. till two in the morning 2 degrees celcius. cold water.

so fun. go get it dirty.

I think he's just telling a story....... :-)

Surely you took a camera. :D

We want pics!!!!

damn finkster, that is some hardcore mud and some hardcore extracation! Nice.

I bet your FJC is about 100lbs heavier!

With that kind of mud, water etc I'd be looking at a snorkel, and some more serious tires!

Finkster, where were ya when ya got stuck ?

We, in Floirida, have lots of that boot-sucken mud.....well, normally we do- we're kinda in a drought right now,,,,but about to get rainey...

hmmmm, guess now you H8MUD ?

NICE :D I wondered what one would look like without the white roof!!! That's a crapload handwinching my friend. Hope your helpers got some rest after that!

i live in calgary and we got lots of everything. 70km from my house in town. i had to climb a mountain scale a tree, but got cell phone reception. thank god. got more troops. i had mud terrains on and once we weren't high centred they got me going amazingly. that was so sticky.

ready to do it again. maybe with a winch this time.hahah.

font end.webp the beast lives. bent side panel from roping the wheel and then jacking it, running boards bent up, scratched through from alder trees. loving every minute of it.

Exactly....a little damage but Hell...that's what it is made for. Just and hour ago my beautiful Middle Eastern wife, who has no concept of what fun wheeling actually is, looked at me over her designer glasses and asked why I wanted to lift my FJC up and replace perfectly good new tires with loud big lumpy off road monsters like the bumpy ones on my old lifted 87 AMC Jeep Wrangler. "You wouldn't want to take a new truck off road and scatch it" she said. Uhmmmm...yeah....of course I would", was my responce.

yes the couch is lumpy.

Heh, shes a keeper! :P

That looks like an LZ in Vietnam. Where the hell do you wheel?
