Good afternoon,

Are there any Toyota Dealerships in NC that will source an H55f and shifter, new? Do you know what the going rate for the transmission is, in US dollars?

Thanks,
Chad

All of them should be able to. @FAT PARTS absolutely will be able to.

Last I recall, the price was around $2800 for the transmission.

Check with Rafael. I think he did that recently with his 62.

If you are a member in good standing with ONSC, I believe at least a couple dealerships will give you a club discount on parts.

so tempting to just order one to have and look at. would be like a showpiece

Shaun, you're famous, Rick too

Fat is probably free shipping and you pick up at the dealer.

Part number for the H55 is 33030-60450. That is what was on the tag of the one I have.

I got mine from Scott Clark last summer. After the club discount and including tax I think it was just under $2200. Talked to Beno first but he recommended checking locally because of shipping costs.

Thank yall for your input.

I think I will join, I don't know what the rules are if you have your 40 torn all apart though...:meh: I guess next step is to start making phone calls!

HERE is the membership thread, in case you hadn't already seen it. Several members have had their trucks torn apart for years but have remained active.

I bet if you surveyed the group, the vast majority would say that membership dues are some of the best money they've ever spent. The guys in the Triad are very active. You should make every effort to join them for their next "meeting".

I just sent my money to ONSC! :moon:;)

its the best money spent each year... hell I don't live local anymore and still pay it
