H42 tranny not H41-Came out of USA 1983 FJ60 with 250K miles. Removed from truck in '07. Tranny shifted fine, no unusual noises, no major leaks at that time. Shows very little wear on input shaft splines.Transfer shifted fine, all ranges engaged. Kept in a heated garage since pulled. $400.

ill take it.....

You sure its an H41?

If its from a USA FJ60, it's an H42.

Makes a big difference, because if an H41 with split case, that's a good deal.

Is that a factory driveshaft hoop? Sweet! As cruiserdrew said, if that's actually an H41 that's a great deal. Put the transfer in High, put the trans in 1st and count the outputs.

Sorry guys, it is out of a USA FJ60. So it's a H42 tranny. 1 revolution of the input shaft equals approximately 100 degrees of revolution on the output shaft. My bad!

Thank you for pointing that out and educating me!

It is a factory driveshaft hoop but it's a H42 tranny not H41. 1 revolution of the input equals approximately 100 degrees rotation on the output.

That's still a good deal... GLWS
