Hello,

I have a question about the H151 transmission oil filling bolt (plug, as per the manual.) location.

Its location is not indicated in the service manual. The EPC states it is on the right side. I checked and could not find it. I did find one on the left side, above the drain plug.

My guess is the EPC has the bolt on the wrong side. Am I correct? Or am I missing something?

Thanks in advance.

The toyodiy seems to show it on the RH as well
Do you think this might be the fill plug? Looks a little low.

This a H150 but I think the casings would be the same

Hello Rosco,

Thank you for the picture. That is the plug I found. And yes, it is on the left and it looks a little low.

That is a clean transmission. And that Troopie looks great. Is that an European spec rear bumper?

I will check that plug.

Now i know were my filler plug is thanks fellas
As for the tail lights the ones in the std troopy spot dont pass the aus stds as they have no yellow indicators bit thats why there in the bottom bumper , some aus patrols and pajeros have the same issue and tail lights put in the lower bumper

Is that Brand New? Love that color, what is the color code?

looking at roscos camera date id say its a 05 looks new there ,its not new any more as 06 they changed the front end and have the turbo v8 diesl in the troopys now

Thats on an aussie spec cruiser but we share many safety specs
There is another type that only has a light on only one side of the bumper .

Hello,

Do Aussie Cruisers have rear fog lights like European ones?

Im not sure what you mean by fog lights Juan. We have the park lights, brake lights and indicator lights only.
No indicator lights in the body

On the Africa/ European models, there is a switch in the center console underneath the fan controls which isn't labeled. This turns on the rear fog light, which is basically a 'red' light which looks like part of the brake light.

Basically, so when its foggy, people don't drive into the back of your vehicle! :)

Cheers

Hello,

These are the lights I was asking about. Do Aussie Cruisers have them?

JuanJ

the only rear lights that come on are when we turn the headlight roller switch one click thats our park lights, the the brake lights or reveasr lights, we dont get the little switch

Hello,

I will go below the Cruiser this weekend to snap a couple pictures. Been busy lately.

They look much alike.
