This is a bell housing (2piece), starter, clutch fork, and flywheel from an hj45. Starter is 24 volt. This bellhousing will also fit a 2h and 12ht. It is cast steel so you could theoretically attach an h55 and not need to install

a cross member. The hj45 had a 4 speed and splitcase. Price is 150 plus shipping for the lot. The throw out bearing and bushing is included just not pictured. These parts ae very heavy. Id say about 80 lbs so shipping won't be super cheap.

I know this is sold. But I have two questions. Am I understanding correctly that this particular H-engine bell housing out of a HJ45 allows for the bell housing to fit into the stock FJ40 rear frame mount locations? And if so would that also allow for a Toyota 3-speed transmission to bolt directly to this bell housing without modifying either the existing stock driveshaft lengths or relocating the tubular cross support normally required in 3-speed to 4-speed and 3-speed to 5-speed swaps?

So you can use a steel H-series bellhousing on a 12HT/H55F swap in a 40 series??? That also means you don't necessarily have to add a crossmember for the H55F. Awesome!
