Has anyone ever had to/heard of anyone else having to replace a motor in their 470?
I have a lead on a clean 470 which may have a blown motor. Apparently timing belt went and was replaced but when driving it out here the PO may have not been advised of internal damages sustained during the timing belt issue and may have further bent something(s) internal. PO drove it down to Northern Virginia from Indiana.
When advised of the diagnoses after another timing belt install, an advisory of the cost of another replacement engine, the PO doesn't want to pay that kind of money to do it and apparently he is refusing to pay his bill.
I need to go take a close look the rig, grab a VIV, and see how well sorted it is. Any sage advise out there would be greatly appreciated.
